4. Intellectual Property Rights

All course materials, methodologies, curricula, and educational content remain the exclusive property of DataFlow Academy. This includes:

  • Course videos, presentations, and written materials
  • Assessment tools and grading criteria
  • Software tools and applications developed by DataFlow Academy
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding elements

Limited License for Educational Use

Students receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access and use course materials for personal educational purposes
  • Download and print materials for individual study
  • Use learned methodologies in their professional work
  • Reference course concepts in academic or professional contexts

This license terminates upon course completion or account termination.

Student-Generated Content

Students retain ownership of original work created during courses, while granting DataFlow Academy:

  • Right to use student projects for educational demonstration purposes
  • Permission to showcase exceptional work in marketing materials (with consent)
  • License to use feedback and evaluations for course improvement
  • Right to reference anonymized student outcomes in success metrics

5. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Course Fees and Payment

  • Course fees are stated in Euros (€) and must be paid in full before course access
  • Payment plans are available for qualifying students upon request
  • All fees include applicable Cyprus VAT as required by law
  • Price changes apply only to future enrollments, not existing registrations
  • Corporate training rates may differ from individual course pricing

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Course Cancellation by DataFlow Academy

  • Priority registration for rescheduled courses
  • Notification provided at least 48 hours before scheduled start date

6. Service Limitations and Disclaimers

Educational Outcomes Disclaimer

Important: While our courses provide comprehensive training in data analytics, we cannot guarantee specific career outcomes, salary increases, or job placement. Success depends on individual effort, prior experience, market conditions, and personal application of learned skills.

Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain 99% platform uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • Technical difficulties may occasionally affect course delivery
  • Internet connectivity issues are the responsibility of individual students
  • Course schedules may be adjusted due to instructor availability or unforeseen circumstances

Limitation of Liability

DataFlow Academy's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific course in question. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Data loss not caused by our negligence
  • Third-party actions or content
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, or government actions

7. Account Termination

Termination by Student

  • Students may request account closure at any time
  • Refund policy applies to active course enrollments
  • Completed course records remain available for transcript requests

Termination by DataFlow Academy

  • We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms
  • Immediate termination for serious misconduct or illegal activities
  • Warning system for minor violations before termination
  • Refunds at our discretion based on circumstances

Effects of Termination

  • Immediate loss of access to platform and course materials
  • Intellectual property licenses terminate immediately
  • Certain provisions survive termination (confidentiality, intellectual property, liability)
  • Outstanding payment obligations remain due

8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Changes
